One sticks to higher notes and the other lower ones, then switch. Meantime enough space is kept between the two expositions so that they don\u2019t overlap. While timbral architecture isn\u2019t definite, most likely the playful jumps and jerks, propelled with pedal work are from Wodrascka, while the hunting-and-pecking narrative, emphasizing micro-movements relates to Hovette\u2019s processes.<\/p>\n<p>Deeper and darker in execution, the 43 minute plus title track brings in more echoes from the fallback, soundboard and tightly wound strings than the previous pseudo-\u00e9tudes. With the sometimes more individualized processes slightly more muffled the tendency towards abstraction and pure sound is intensified. Deux oiseaux, \u00e0 qui les dieux auraient confi\u00e9 leur secret, celui de rendre imperceptibles les passages et de maintenir ouvertes les portes qui voudraient s\u00e9parer deux mondes, d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 la musique qui s\u2018improvise dans le moment, et de l\u2019autre une musique savamment \u00e9labor\u00e9e.   Iana pourrait \u00eatre ce Bosphore sonore, cet endroit, o\u00f9 deux sensibilit\u00e9s viennent se trouver, s\u2019unir, fusionner,  comme fusionnent dans les eaux du Bosphore la Mer Noire et la Mer de Marmara. Deux pianos qui n\u2019en font plus qu\u2019un !   Et imperceptiblement, apr\u00e8s Janus et le Bosphore, une autre image surgit ; celle de deux femmes dans un village Inuit, faisant r\u00e9sonner, par simple jeu, leurs voix dans la bouche l\u2019une de l\u2019autre, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que ces deux voix ne soient plus qu\u2019une seule.   C\u2019est \u00e0 cette magie-l\u00e0 que Christine Wodrascka et Betty Hovette nous convient derri\u00e8re leurs pianos dispos\u00e9s t\u00eate-b\u00eache.
