Since 1984, Florian has been playing, improvising and composing for music, theatre and dance, mainly on bass, baritone and alto saxophones.
He participates in Bridge, an improvised music exchange programme between France and Chicago.

His music is inhabited by the pebbles of the limestone plateau of Quercy, by the fireworks of free jazz, by the tidal wave of deliberately acoustic or richly electrified music, by orchestras of learned music and by a wealth of traditional music from Rouergue to Indonesia.
