Jazz In – Le Jazz comme un acte de curiosité

Autre moment fort : la prestation du trio In Spirit, en hommage à Don Pullen. Le groupe ne cite pas, il incarne : énergie fragmentée et tension brute. Mouvant, fragmenté, organique, avec une énergie presque punk. Une liberté musicale sincère et vibrante, loin des standards du genre. « Ce n’était pas gagné d’avance », reconnaît Gérard Tanguy, président de l’association qui pilote le festival, qui se dit satisfait que le public ait accueilli le projet avec enthousiasme, faisant de la prestation du trio de Betty Hovette, Sébastien Bacquias et Fabien Duscombs un des grands moments du festival.
